Child injured in Papua attack

Police announced Sunday that a 10-year-old child was among those injured in an attack perpetrated by unidentified armed men in Nafri village, Abepura, Jayapura.
The child was identified as Fernal Nongka, tempointeraktif.com reported.
Fernal and two other victims – Alex Nongka, 40, and Baharudin, 49 – are now being treated at the Abepura hospital
“Fernal was shot in the left chest, while Alex Nongka and Baharuddin were shot in their hands,” Jayapura Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Imam Setiawan said, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Imam said Riswandi Yunus, 35, was killed in the attack.
Alex Nongka said the assailants hid behind roadside bush and started firing at his motorcycle and a car behind him.
